Dream It, Be It joins Soroptimist’s long-running program Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women (formerly the Women’s Opportunity Awards). The Soroptimist Dream Programs ensure women and girls have access to the education and training they need to reach their full potential and live their dreams.
Live Your Dream Awards
Soroptimist's Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women assist women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.
Breast Cancer Comfort Bags
Women who are undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer have a variety of ongoing recovery issues, both physical and emotional. This can be a time of pain and fear, and a special tote bag created just for this woman, given by other women, can make a positive impact on her spirit and comfort. With the assistance of grants and donations, our club has filled lovely tote bags with contents which include physical comfort items and items to provide spiritual support as well.
Partnership Projects
These projects can be partnerships with outside organizations or they can be a passion of a member or group of members. These are always growing and changing with the membership and the needs of the community.
